For only being around for a few days now there are a lot of rumors already out there about All Elite Wrestling. Here is what is reporting on AEW

  • Tony Khan co-owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars is the top executive of the company and is said to be fronting $100 million to launch of AEW.
  • Even though Jim Ross has denied being part of the new company the report says that he be heavily involved in both commentary and in a backstage capacity. Ross is still under contract to WWE until April so it will be a few months before he can go All In with the start up.
  • The company is suppose to go all out to recruit WWE employees who contracts come up and not just wrestlers but all employees.
  • They are looking to use legends and Goldberg is one of the names that have been brought up.
  • Chris Jericho another name rumored to the company is said to be involved “in depth”.
  • They are working on a national television deal and one company they have talked to is Time Warner to have AEW air on TNT/TBS.
  • Even though Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) were announced as Executive Vice President’s they will focus more on wrestling and not necessarily in the creative aspect.
