Global Force Wrestling put out this statement yesterday. “Effective immediately, Jeff Jarrett is taking an indefinite leave of absence from his position as Chief Creative Officer to focus on personal matters. Jeff will be available on a consultative basis as needed.”

PWInsider is reporting that Ed Nordholm made the call for Jarrett to take the leave due to Jarrett’s “erratic behavior” over sevral months with his TripleMania appearnce being the tipping point when he stumbled out to the ring in not the best shape. It also seems that Jeff had no clue it was coming because he tweeted this early in the day.

It was also noted in the PWInsider article that one source said the “GFW/Anthem merger” that was announced several months back has not been finalized yet. Where this leaves Jarrett, Anthem, and GFW nobody knows yet and right now there are more questions than answers.
