– Ember Moon defeated Lei’D Tapa
After the match Ember says she wants Asuka at Takeover Brooklyn 3. She says that Asuka wants competition but is Asuka ready for Ember Moon?

– The Authors of Pain come out for a match against enhancement talent but before they make it to the ring Sanity attacks AOP opponents and then brawl with AOP. AOP gets the best of Sanity and Nikki holds them back from brawling some more.

– The Velveteen Dream defeated Cezar Bononi

– Drew McIntyre comes out and says he will be facing Bobby Roode for the NXT Championship in Brooklyn. He talks about having the wrong mindset the first time he was in WWE and failed. He had to become the hardest worker and became the hardest working in the world. He says it isn’t Bobby Roode’s NXT but it is everyone’s.

– Kassius Ohno defeated Hideo Itami via DQ
Hideo kicks Ohno low for the DQ and then hits 2 GTS’s before leaving and coming back and hitting a third into the steps.

– Johnny Gargano defeated Raul Mendoza
Johnny comes out to the DIY theme and entrance video but stops and stairs at it as it and then it switches to a new theme song for him.

– Asuka is out and says she will face Ember Moon at Takeover and that she has beat her before and will beat her again. Moon comes out and says that she knows she is ready, the fans know she is ready, and Asuka knows she is ready for her. Moon says Asuka knows the truth is that Asuka isn’t ready for Ember Moon. Asuka offers a handshake and then slaps Moon and throws her out of the ring. As Asuke gloats Moon goes up top and hits the Eclipse.

– Heavy Machinery defeated Tino Sabbatelli & Riddick Moss

– Sonya Deville defeated Jenna Van Muscles

– Hideo Itami cuts a promo saying he shouldn’t show respect for anyone and he deserves respect and doesn’t care who has the next match. Aleister Black comes out and Itami acts like his going to leave but then charges Black who his a Black Mass on Itami who needs help to the back.

– Aleister Black defeated Kyle O’Reilly
Said to have been a good and long back and forth match.

– Nikki Cross calls out the Authors of Pain. As they come out Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe join her in the ring and then Eric Young jumps Rezar and zip ties him to the guardrail. Sanity beats down Akam. Rezar breaks the guardrail loose and drags it in the ring bu is taken out by Sanity.

– The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) defeated The Metro Brothers

– William Regal brings out Bobby Roode and Drew McIntyre for a face to face. Roode has security to protect him from Roderick Strong. Bobby welcomes Drew back to the company and says it’s his NXT. Drew says Bobby is an ass and will take the title at Takeover. Roderick comes out and says it’s not about the title anymore and he wants to fight Roode. Roode says he will face Strong even for the title but first he has to beat McIntyre. Regal makes Strong Vs. McIntyre for next week show but says no matter what it will be Roode and McIntyre for the title in Brooklyn.

– Danny Burch defeated Oney Lorcan

– Andrade “Cien” Almas (w/Thea Trinidad) defeated No Way Jose
Thea would yell at Almas when he would play around. After the match Thea went to the announcer booth and said the spotlight should be on Almas. She said if the “NXT universe Golden Boy” Johnny Gargano is looking for an opponent for Brooklyn then he has one.

– William Regal brings out for a contract signing between Asuka and Ember Moon. Moon says Asuka is great and has surpassed legends but the only person who she has taken short cuts against was her. Ember says that Asuka has made her better and she will end Asuka streak and will be the next NXT Women’s Champion. Asuka signs the contract with no comment. They have a stare down to end the signing.

– Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) defeated Lars Sullivan & Chris Silvio

– Ruby Riot defeated Billie Kay

– Roderick Strong vs. Drew McIntyre goes to a no contest when Bobby Roode attacks both men. He throws Strong into the steps and hits a Glorious DDT on McIntyre and stands over him with the championship to end the show.
