WrestleVotes on Twitter is reporting that starting with the May 6th Backlash pay-per-view, WWE will no longer do brand only PPV’s and all PPV’s going forward will be co-branded events. Since the second brand split started in the summer of 2016 WWE has only had co-branded PPV’s for the big four events and this year they were going to add Money In The Bank to make it the big 5. According to the Tweet do to repetitive matches being added to brand exclusive PPV’s and low ticket sales is the reason for the change. The Tweet also says that the Raw and Smackdown will still be split and they will continue to do brand exclusive live events.
