Former WWE United States champion MVP, who departed TNA over the Course of this past summer, was backstage at the WWE Night of Champions PPV. MVP lives in Houston. MVP left WWE in 2010 to work for New Japan Pro Wrestling before heading to TNA.

WWE Hall of Famers Scott Hall and Ric Flair were backstage. Along with Stevie Ray of Harlem Heat as well as NXT stars including Bayley were also there.

Dolph Ziggler defeats Rusev after Summer Rae attempts to throw her shoe At Dolph but misses getting the Bulgarian brute leading to a Zigzag and a pinfall for the Show Off.

The Dudleys defeat The New Day by disqualification following interference by Xavier Woods but still champions The New Day. Following the match, The New Day attempt to put the Dudleys through a table however the tables literally get turned as Xavier Woods goes against the grain once again.

Charlotte defeats Nikki Bella with the Figure 8 to pick up her first Divas Championship

The Wyatt Family defeat the returning Chris Jericho, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns after Braun Stroman locked on his triangle choke to cause referee stoppage following a blind tag. After the match Jericho leaves the ring bumping past Ambrose and Reigns

John Cena defeats Seth Rollins for the US title following an AA getting a pinfall victory.

Seth Rollins defeats Sting by countering the Scorpion Death Lock to get a pinfall victory. Sheamus runs down for an attempt to cash in his Money in the Bank contract. Following a Brogue Kick, Kane returns in full Big Red Machine gear complete with mask and takes out both champion and Sheamus. Kane stands tall after delivering a Tombstone Piledriver.
